Prior to joining Hilliard Law, Michael Richardson was a partner with Beck Redden LLP in Houston, Texas.  At Beck Redden, Michael distinguished himself as a trial lawyer other lawyers turn to when they have a problem. Michael’s practice has included a wide array of complex litigation matters involving legal malpractice, professional liability, contract disputes, intellectual property, business torts, insurance coverage, class actions, product liability, and personal injury.  Over the course of his career, Michael has been recognized as a top-rated attorney by Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers in America and Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers.

Michael served as the Pro Bono coordinator at Beck Redden during which time the firm received the Houston Bar Foundation Award for Outstanding Small Firm Contribution to the Houston Volunteer Lawyers.  Michael’s leadership in the legal community has also included serving on the Board of Trustees for the Houston Lawyer Referral Service, as a member of the District 4 Subcommittee of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee, and as a Committee Member and Arbitrator for the Houston Bar Association Fee Dispute Committee.
