Barry Bryan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, San Francisco College of the Law (formerly Hastings College of the Law), where he graduated cum laude and served as the Treasurer of the Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation and participated in moot court competitions. While in law school, Barry clerked with the California Office of Attorney General as well as Earthjustice and other environmental and environmental justice non-profits.

Before joining Hilliard Law in February 2021, Barry practiced insurance defense litigation in San Francisco, primarily focusing on toxic torts and environmental legacy claims, as well as personal injury, construction defect, and employment. Barry’s practice is now focused on the firm’s mass tort docket, focusing on claims against major pharmaceutical companies on behalf of injured clients.
