HILLIARD LAW RESPONDS TO POTENTIAL CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST TRAVIS SCOTT IN ASTROWORLD CROWD SURGE INCIDENT
Hilliard Law, a nationally known trial firm specializing in personal injury and civil litigation, has issued a response to the recent news regarding the potential criminal charges faced by rapper Travis Scott in connection with the tragic crowd surge incident at the Astroworld music festival in 2021.
According to the Houston Chronicle, a Texas grand jury is meeting Thursday to weigh the possible criminal charges. The charges stem from a deadly surge of fans at Astroworld in Houston, where thousands were injured when the over-capacity crowd pressed forward as Scott took the stage. According to one of the lawyers representing victims, reported on UnionLeader.com, at least 4,900 people were injured, and ten people were killed by compressive asphyxiation, including a 10-year-old boy.
